Every SEO Specialist has a few crafty techniques at their disposal. They know that websites seldom see the light of day without high rankings. Improving your domain authority depends on a range of variables, such as content, crawl errors and back links. Well, it’s time that our SEO team lets you in on a little secret! We are using music for links.
“Music? My client doesn’t even have time to listen to music!” you claim…
Surprisingly, this technique can be applied to any business! All you need is a fun theme song that fits the tone of the business (keyboard, acoustic guitar and accordions are acceptable instruments).
How Does It Work?
- Create a fun theme song for each client.
- Build profiles with the song, website link and basic business information on artist websites.
- Link the artists profile to a blog article.
Our Marketing Specialist produced the theme songs that we added to the profiles, using a cello. Gaining a link to a website with a high domain authority will not earn you link juice without increasing the page authority. Your initial page authority on a music website will be one, but on high domain sites. The potential for great link juice is relevant with a little leverage. The following chart depicts music sites with “follow” links.
Music Sites with “Follow” links and High Domain Authorities
Music Site | Domain Authority |
Bandcamp | 84 |
YourListen | 57 |
NoiseTrade | 65 |
